Constant Output 02: Wiping My own Tears
For my next adventure in stop-motion I made another self-portrait. This time, I took inspiration from one of my favorite artists on Instagram (@wilfridwoodsculptor) and tried to make a slightly more realistic caricature of my face which I sculpted while looking at myself in the mirror.
Here’s my head before the photoshoot:
As I was sculpting, I began treating the clay like it was a finger painting. Smearing color and mixing on the surface of the sculpture was really interesting.

Yes, they’re a little terrifying, but that's what makes stop motion so addicting to look at. I had fun thinking about expressions and exaggerating for this one.
